Sending us files that meet the requirements below ensures that you get a quick delivery times and a great final label.

    Artwork Requirements

PDF, EPS, TIFF, .Adobe Illustrator (AI), or Corel Draw (CDR)

    * All fonts must be converted to curves/outlines.*

    Other Considerations

All raster (image-based) graphics need to have a resolution of 360 dpi at actual size.

Graphics should be in CMYK colour mode. RGB images will be converted to CYMK prior to printing and colour shifts may occur.

If you have multiple designs and labels they can be sent as a single file, but splitting them into individual files may prevent manipulation errors during pre-press.

    Layout

If the artwork bleeds off the label, that is print goes to the very edge and no white shows around the edges, your artwork should go 1/16″ past the label edge (blue line).

For labels that do not bleed over the edge leave at least 1/16″ (0.0625″) of white space on each side of the artwork (red line) to allow for slight shifts.

For example, on a 4 ” x 2 ” label where the artwork goes edge to edge, your design should be 4.125″ x 2.125″, this will give a 1/16” bleed around the entire label.

    Artwork Fees

An artwork fee will be charged for time spent creating label files and/or adjusting files to meet the above specifications

    Proofs

Prior to printing your label we will provide a electronic proof to you in PDF Format.
At this stage please ensure you check the label layout, design and spelling.
Once the proof is signed you, the customer, will be responsible for any errors or omissions.

For labels where colour is an important factor, we also offer the option of proofs printed on the press so that you can see the exact results of the print.
Press proof will not be die cut to size or printed on specialty materials.
